A dark and tragic day on August 19, 1999 for Rivermont Farms, Jack & Cynthia and ten Arabian horses. The only surviving horse was Diving Prophecy, who later followed in the footsteps of Unique Hope and Divine Faith with a championship show career. After the fire, Jack & Cynthia retired from Arabain horse breeding and showing. Rivermont Farms would never be the same. Two Arabian horses, Decadance and Mardain remain alive and still roam the Rivermont hills today.
